Notes: One of the characters, Tai Kaliso, is a “strong warrior” from the Arohma/Irohma South Islands. In addition to sporting facial tattoos, his armour and weapons also bear vaguely tribal insignia. Tai seems to fit all of the tropes of a “typical Polynesian warrior”.
