Title: Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Paradise Found

Year: 2011

Platform: Windows, MacOSX, Linux, Steam

Genre: Turn-based strategy

Publisher: 2K Games

Developer: Firaxis Games

Notes: Paradise Found is a DLC expansion pack for Civilization V, where the player can play as a Polynesian faction which includes Hawaii, Moai, and Aotearoa; with Kamehameha serving as the leader. Some of the big innovations in Civilization 6 such as increased ability in shipbuilding and wayfinding get their start here; and in the game the warrior unit are Māori. As to be expected, the Māori also do the haka in the game, which scares the bejeezus out of the enemy and makes them 10% less effective in battle.

As with Civilization VI, there exists a community-modded version of the game, this time with the leader of the quest being Te Rauparaha.
